A few weekends ago , my friend Emma and I went around Seattle to be tourists in our own city. We spent the day exploring to find the best views of the city.

If you plan visiting Seattle anytime soon, or if you’re a native here, below are some of the best places to get a great view of our beautiful city. 

Take a short sightseeing cruise around Elliot Bay with Argosy Cruises. It’s a great way to experience spectacular views of the city from the water. You can buy tickets here

The Smith Tower - 506 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104 – This the oldest skyscraper in the city and it’s known for it’s historic observatory. You can purchase tickets to the observatory here

Kerry Park-211 W Highland Dr, Seattle, WA 98119- This is probably the most famous park in the city and you can get an breathtaking panorama view of the Seattle skyline. 

A few other places to check out are, 

Rizal Park- 1007 12th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144- Great view of downtown from Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

Gas Works Park- 2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103- Located on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light company gasification plant on Lake Union.

Harbor Ave SW- This a street in West Seattle where Alki Beach, the most popular beach in the city, is located.  You can dine at Marination Ma Kai or Salty’s to get a great view of the Puget Sound. Space Needle- 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109- Most popular observation tower in the city.
